We dream of finding vintage Valentino pieces that are as special as this ensemble! This Spring/Summer Valentino Couture collection set includes a blouse, jacket and pants. As with all Valentino Garavani pieces, this outfit is incredibly well made and the colors are just as vibrant as they were over 40 years ago. His pieces really do stand the test of time!
The cropped, open front jacket is made of red textured silk crepe in a multicolored polka dotted print. There is gathering along the shoulder line and shoulder seam. The jacket is open in front and is very light weight with a slightly opaque red silk lighting at the shoulders and arms.
The mandarin collar short sleeve blouse has a pretty bow at the collar. The fabric is a semi sheer red silk in the same polka dot pattern. There is gentle gathering at the shoulder line and concealed shoulder pads for some structure, allowing the flowing silk blouse to hang just right.
The trousers are made from the same material as the Jacket, with the same color and polka dot pattern. The waist comes to a point at the back of the trousers and there are pockets. As with many better made garments, there are metal circular weight attached to the inside leg cuffs to hold the light weight silk so that it hangs properly.
This would be such a fun ensemble to add to any modern wardrobe. You can break up the set and mix the pieces with so many other separates you already own! This is truly a one of a kind vintage ensemble that you will love owning!
